Bioenzyme Making Workshop

Turn Kitchen Waste Into Nature’s Cleaner

Learn how citrus peels, jaggery, and water can be transformed through natural fermentation into a simple, eco-friendly solution for everyday cleaning and sustainable living.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Turning Kitchen Waste Into Eco-Friendly Solutions

The Bioenzyme Making Workshop is a hands-on sustainability initiative by Dhruvansh NGO, designed to help communities transform fruit and vegetable peels into a useful fermented solution using simple, natural ingredients.

Through this workshop, students, volunteers, RWAs, and corporate groups learn the process of collecting organic waste, preparing the 1:3:10 mixture, and setting up the fermentation process—turning everyday kitchen waste into a practical step toward more sustainable living.

HOW BIOENZYME IS MADE

90 Days. One Simple Transformation.

Follow four simple stages to transform fruit peels, jaggery, and water into a naturally fermented bioenzyme.

01 — MIX

Combine jaggery, clean water, and chopped fruit peels in a suitable plastic container using the recommended 1:3:10 ratio.

02 — FERMEN

Leave enough headspace and allow the mixture to ferment for around 3 months. Release built-up gases regularly, especially during the early stage.

03 — FILTER

After approximately 90 days, strain the fermented mixture through a fine sieve or clean cloth to separate the liquid from the peel residue

04 — STORE & USE

Transfer the filtered bioenzyme into a clean, airtight container. Store appropriately and dilute as needed for different household applications.
